The Challenge
At Admind, we’ve always believed that creative professionals carry a certain responsibility – not just as designers and communicators, but as people who live in communities, use public spaces, and shape the culture around them. With 150 people spread across several cities and countries, our agency is more than a workplace. It’s a community. The challenge was: how do we channel this creative energy into something that builds awareness, strengthens values, and leaves a positive mark – both inside and outside the company?
The Idea
In 2022, we formed a dedicated Social Impact team to initiate projects that support local communities, promote sustainability, and engage our people beyond client briefs. Out of this ambition, Theme Months was born in 2023: a year-round, poster-led initiative where each month a different designer creates a visual piece promoting a cause close to our values.
The process is as important as the output. Each participating designer works under the guidance of senior creatives and art directors, developing skills identified during evaluation meetings – from conceptual thinking to typographic refinement. Feedback comes in multiple rounds, fostering collaboration and peer learning.
Once approved, the posters are adapted for social media and printed across all our offices – creating both a digital and physical presence for each cause, from food drives to Pride Month to mental well-being.
The Design System
The series is unified by a core layout built on a grid introduced in the very first poster. Certain elements remain fixed – the Admind and series logos, the signature yellow info card – while others, like the red dot and the month name, move freely within the grid, giving each piece its own rhythm.
Designers work within Admind’s identity but are encouraged to inject their own perspective and style. The result is a balance between brand coherence and personal expression – a hallmark of strong design culture.
The Impact
Since launch, over 30 unique posters have been created, each sparking conversation, raising awareness, and showcasing our team’s talent. Some designs have found a second life on presentation decks, merchandise, and welcome packs for new employees.
The project’s influence reached beyond our walls – in 2024, Theme Months won a DNA Paris Design Award in recognition of its creative concept and social impact. What began as an internal initiative has become a celebrated example of how design can inspire, connect, and make a difference.
